This mod was a community request which I thought was super cool and I decided to do this as a separate standalone mod instead of part of my dietary life.

This first iteration of the mod is purely weight management but would love to include a use case for type 2 diabetes with another mod that has this feature in the future😊

💉 The Osimpic Pen

The Osimpic pen comes in three doses:

• Low Dose: 0.25mg

• Medium Dose: 1mg

• High Dose: 2mg

Each dose works a little differently. Lower doses are gentler, while higher doses have a stronger effect on hunger and appetite. Of course, the stronger the dose, the more side effects your sim will receive too.

One dose lasts for 7 days and will immediately start affecting your Sim’s appetite after they take it.

🩺 How It Works

To start, your Sim needs to book a Weight Management Consultation with a doctor.

At the appointment, they can be honest about their situation, or they can bend the truth a little to try and get the prescription for sims who may not need weight management. 

If your Sim is approved, the doctor will recommend a dose based on their weight, lifestyle, and overall health.

Non overweight Sims may also be able to get a prescription, but they will need to work a little harder for it. Celebrity Sims may be able to dazzle the doctor with their status, while charismatic Sims may be able to talk their way into approval.

Once approved, your Sim can buy the prescription from a computer for 750 simoleons.

Each pen contains 3 doses and lasts 3 weeks.

🤢 Side Effects

Your Sim can experience side effects like nausea, fatigue, headaches, dizziness, frequent burping, and mood swings.

Sims on a higher dose may feel the side effects more strongly. Sims who overeat while taking Osimpic may also have a rougher time.

😳 Osimpic Face

Long term use can also cause Osimpic face.

If your Sim stays on the medication for too long or if they don’t really need the medication, they may start to develop some adverse facial features.

The only way to fix an Osimpic face is by booking a Facial Rejuvenation Treatment for 5000 simoleons.

*This feature does include a reduction to a sim’s cheek fullness. In next update, I will add a setting for this particular facial attribute to be optional.

🔄 Refill Appointments

When the pen runs out, your Sim can book a refill appointment.

At the appointment, they can continue at the same dose, ask for a higher dose, or ask for a lower dose.

If your Sim has lost too much weight, the doctor may recommend stopping treatment. You can accept the decision or dispute it if your Sim is determined to keep going.
