Its time to talk about the Political World Mod!

A big thanks to everyone who has supported this mod from the beginning! I am sorry for the delay in adding elections features I know some of you have been quietly fuming every time another pregnancy mod post popped up when all you wanted was more politics in your game. I see you😭🤣

What’s Changing With the Revamp

The active politician career has been taking wayyyy too long to build and has been holding all my other features hostage. I’ve decided to split the Political World revamp into two parts. This will allow me to release updates sooner and dedicate more time and effort to improving gameplay for each part

⭐1️⃣Part 1 — Electionnnsss: This update will focus on politics as a citizen and includes world-specific changes based on the political party that wins the election. Featuring:

• 4 -Day Election Season Events

• Government Taxation System

• Political Leader NPCs that shape each world’s direction

⭐2️⃣Part 2 — Active Politician Gameplay: This update will centre on active sim being able to run for election and life as a politician. This can either be via the active politician career or not however being in the career will give you a significant advantage.

I am trying to focus on designing these updates to support active and passive playstyle.

I’m aiming to get Part 1 out between April and May

Foundation Rebuild

Alongside the additional features, I’m also rebuilding the foundation of the Political World from the ground up, which will include some visible improvements, i.e:

• Jazzing up some of my existing buffs

• Incorporating Lumpinou mood Pack to add more buff mood variety

• Maxis matching buff icons

• More social interactions across the mod

• Tweaks based on community requests that have been sent in

This should be released with the part 1 updates.

🌍Heads up for Translators🌍

Any existing Political World translations will not be valid this upcoming update, as a lot of the strings are changing. That said, I’m happy to send strings to translators 1–2 weeks before launch if you want to get ahead of it. Just submit via the form on my site if you’d like to do this or let me know via discord!
